THE ART GROUP 1
From 10am to 1pm. Our art group is a get together of like-minded people who like to paint, draw and explore their creativity in a relaxed and friendly manner with the guidance of our lovely art tutor, Susan Gauld. As this group is usually full we have opened a new one on Wednesdays.
From 11.30am to 12.30pm. Join our lunchtime Pilates exercise classes focusing on core strength. It helps build strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into alignment. Open class to all levels, just bring confy clothes. We have mats here and all the materials you're going to be using.
From 10.45am to 12.45pm. Open level class. This yoga practice is a gentle one taught in Chinese so perfect if you speak Chise or you are learning it. With focus on strength, openness, stillness, awareness and breath. We have mats here but you are welcome to bring your own.
From 6pm to 9pm. Join our group of regular crafties who like to work in many different creative projects decided unanimously, sometimes following seasonal themes as Easter or Christmas decorations. Limited numbers so please email us beforehand.
From 6.15 to 7.30pm. Open level class. This yoga practice is a gentle hatha flow, friendly for those with wrist or shoulder issues. There are no vinyasas in this practice, just a strong steady flow from posture to posture with focus on strength, openness, stillness, awareness and breath. We have mats here but you are welcome to bring your own.
From 7pm to 8pm. Swedish Style Exercise is suitable for everyone. This class has a programme of exercises that covers the whole body including strength, agility, aerobic and relaxation. It is safe and can be adaptable to suit all needs. You only need to bring comfy clothes.
From 7.30 to 9pm, Tai Chi is a gentle exercise system suitable for anyone, and excellent for improving balance, stamina, health and general well-being. We teach Wudang (Wu-Cheng) style; beginners are welcome as well as more experienced practitioners. No need to bring anything apart from comfortable clothes.
From 7.30 to 9pm. Are you interested in creative writing? Poetry? Short stories? We are a friendly group that welcomes writers of all levels and backgrounds. During our syllabus we will cover poetry, characters, dialogue, plot, narrative and writing for children.
patchwork & quilting
From 10am to 1pm. Join our group of regular quilters who come and work on their beautiful designs bringing their own materials and sewing machines. You will receive guidance but the sessions are aimed at people with basic knowledge of patchwork and quilting. Limited numbers so please email us beforehand.
From 6.30pm to 8pm. This class tries to accomodate those who already reached the Spanish Improvers level and would like to continue learning Spanish in a more relaxed and conversational way
Spanish beginners LEVEL 1
From 6.30pm to 8pm. HOLA! Would you like to go on holidays to Spain, South America or any Hispanic country or just be more in contact with the Hispanic culture? Come and enjoy our Spanish classes for adults. Our native teacher Marynes will help you to understand and learn the basics so that you can manage a bit better on your own.
From 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Our friendly community orchestra's repertoire is generally classical and new players are welcomed in almost all sections–strings can always be accommodated and additional brass and a timpanist would be wonderful. Knit and Natter
From 10am-12pm. Do you like knitting? Here you can find a nice enviroment where you can do your knitting while gathering with other people just like you. All levels welcome. Tea and cofee will be provided
sewing for beginners
From 6.30 to 9pm. Join our experienced tutor Ros Studd and learn the useful skill of sewing. You are also going to learn how to use commercial patterns for future projects on your own. Sewing machines and practice materials will be provided.
pilates 1 & 2
Pilates 1 from 5.30 to 6.30 and Pilates 2 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Join our Pilates exercise classes focusing on core strength. Lino + Screen Painting
From 6.30pm to 8.30pm. This class is open to any level so if you already know the basics, our brilliant art tutor Jasmine Armour will kindly help you and guide you towards other techniques and materials. Bring your own short story, poem or concept and tell your story through illustration
spanish Beginners 2
.From 7pm to 8.30pm. ME ENTIENDES? If you speak enough Spanish to get bored in our Spanish Beginners level 1 but you are not confident enough to join our Spanish Improvers, this is the class for you! Come and keep practising with us every week. NOS VEMOS!
Last Wednesday of each month, 7.30pm to 9pm. Our book group is a get together of like-minded people who enjoy having a chat about the monthly book while discovering new literary worlds in the way. Books are provided, but numbers are limited so, please, email us in advance.
From 7.30pm to 9pm. Join us to learn Rapper Dance, an energetic group dance involving lots of spinning and jumping over swords! Percussive Step, taking inspiration from many different forms of step dancing including Scottish and Appalachian. No experience necessary, different styles will be taught depending on attendees.
From 12.45pm to 2.45pm. This course is aimed to people who have not sewn in a while and need some practice and help to remember. So bring your own project and refresh your sewing skills with our experienced tutor Ros every Thursday afternoon. Sewing machines and few practice materials included.
From 6.30pm to 8pm. Enjoy percussive Scottish Step Dance to traditional music. Petra is happy to teach any level from beginners to upper intermediate. Advanced step dancers who wish to come along to exchange steps are also welcome. You don't need to bring anything, just comfortable clothes and be willing to have fun.
From 7pm to 8.30pm. Join our most conversational Spanish class for adults with our native tutor, who has loads of experience. Level A2 so be aware that most of the session will be taught in Spanish!
kids' drama workshops
From 6pm to 7.30pm. For children from 6 to 10 years old.
Brilliant drama workshops with Marie Skene from Shazam Theatre Company which will help your kids' social skills, teach them how to express themselves and how to build their confidence while having fun, meeting other kids and exercising. A win win!
patchwork & quilting

From 7pm to 8.30pm. ME ENTIENDES? If you are confortable having a conversation with a local during you holidays, then this is your class! for you! Join us in this class to keep improving your writing and oral skills.
From 8pm to 9pm. Join our group of regulars coming every Thursday to dance ceilidh and learn our most traditional Scottish dance. It doesn't matter your level, the only thing that matters is that you come ready to have fun.
From 8pm to 9pm. Join our group of regulars coming every Thursday to play badminton in our gym hall. It doesn't matter whether you play really well or really bad, the point is exercising a bit and having fun! Please remember to bring your own racquet and comfortable clothes.
Come and Sew
From 4pm to 6.30pm. This class introduces ways to work with fabrics creatively. Have creative fun with pleating, heating, free machine embroidery, layering, or reforming textiles as art or attractive functional projects. No experience of sewing necessary. Sewing machines and basic materials provided. All levels welcome!
From 4pm to 6.30pm. FORTNIGHTLY. This is a must. Loved clothes last! Help the environment repairing and upcycling your old clothes and textiles, or simply alter them to stand out from the crowd at our workshops every other Sunday. Sewing machines and basic materials provided. The first session is taking place on the 26th August so please email us first to book your space.
